According to Statistics Netherlands’ economic monitor (quarterly indicators), the Dutch economy shows signs of recovery and more specifically, growth by 2,4 percent (1,8 percent) in the fourth quarter compared to the same period in 2009 (the third quarter).

Compared to same period last year, the local economy grew in:
› Gross domestic product by 0,6 percent
› Exports by 11,3 percent
› Imports by 10,7 percent
› Household consumption by 1,5 percent
› Production of goods by 3,1 percent
› Total fixed capital formation by 0,5 percent (first time in last two years) 

In 2010, the Dutch economy grew by 1,7 percent in total.
