91% of Dutch are satisfied with their lives, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Better Life Index.

"Life satisfaction" measures how people evaluate their life as a whole and captures a reflective assessment of which life circumstances as well as conditions are important for subjective well-being. Note that the OECD average is 59%.

The OECD Better Life Index is an interactive index that lets people measure and compare their lives based on 11 measurements of quality of life including community, education, environment, health, work-balance and life satisfaction among others (video below).
