A survey conducted by Hendrik Beerda Brand Consultancy (9.000 Dutch, over 18 years old) investigated the "reputation" of all provinces, regions and large cities (> 100.000 inhabitants) in the Netherlands.

Limburg (hospitality, atmosphere and nature), Amsterdam (shops, restaurants and cultural activities) and Veluwe (cycling, walking and the Kröller-Müller Museum) were on the top of their respective lists. It should also be underlined that Maastricht appears to be quite famous for its "comfortable atmosphere."
