About this role
Our international client, based in Zoetermeer, is a leading provider of smart and secure tools that help businesses worldwide enhance efficiency. They are currently looking for a Dutch-speaking Order Management Specialist to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth and accurate execution of the entire Order-to-Cash process-from order intake through to invoicing-for customers across the EMEA region. Working in a dynamic environment, your focus will be on ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and continuous process improvement. You'll be part of a collaborative team of four colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and work closely with departments such as Logistics, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities/Tasks
In this position, your responsibilities include:

Processing incoming orders via various channels and ensuring accurate data entry (such as pricing, master data, order conditions, and shipping instructions).

Handling the administrative processing of returns/RMAs, credit/debit notes, credit card payments, and customer claims.

Communicating with customers regarding order status, delivery times, and product availability.

Managing the invoicing process.

Coordinating with other departments such as Finance, Customer Service, Warehouse/Logistics, and Sales to ensure timely and correct deliveries.

Identifying and signaling bottlenecks in the order flow.
Requirements

Demonstrable MBO+ (secondary vocational education plus) working and thinking level.

Experience in a similar work environment.

A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Precision, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Good command of Dutch and English.

Proficient in MS Office and Excel; experience with ERP systems (preferably Exact Globe).
