Our client – a global leader in baby products and toys – is looking for a Sales Analyst to join their team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will support the Account Sales Teams with data-driven insights and reporting, enabling smarter decisions, improved forecasting, and overall commercial success.
This is a temporary position for 4 months with an immediate start. During the assignment, you will be offered a temporary contract through us, Adams Recruitment. Because of this, we are looking for someone who is immediately available and can quickly step into the role and get up to speed.
In this role, you will:
- Support in-market Account Sales Teams by providing accurate sales reporting and data analytics to drive sales growth and enhance customer success.
- Create and maintain weekly and monthly reports on sales trends, utilizing point of sale (POS) data and customer inventory metrics.
- Provide critical inputs for the monthly forecast consensus process to ensure accurate and aligned sales forecasts.
- Maintain and update account business plans to reflect current market conditions and customer intelligence.
- Offer forecast and planning guidance to both sales and demand teams based on the latest data and insights.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision making and successful execution of sales strategies
For this role, we are searching for someone who has:
- 2–5 years of experience in sales analytics, retail data, or forecasting
- Strong Excel skills – including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, charts, and reports
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
- Experience with retail portals like Amazon Vendor Central is a plus
- Great communication skills & a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in a fast-paced, international business environment
- Strong organizational skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving
This is an American-based company with an office in Amsterdam. You’ll be part of an international team and work closely with colleagues in the US. This is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. The contract will be through Adams Recruitment for 4 months.
