Synopsis Writer | English & Dutch, Polish or German

Our client is a leader in the global entertainment industry, offering a cutting-edge platform with over 231 million paid memberships in more than 190 countries. Their services bring a wide variety of TV series, films, and games to audiences worldwide, providing unlimited entertainment with unparalleled convenience.
At the moment they have an urgent opening for a Synopsis Writer to join their Product Merchandizing team on a temporary role for 6 months. The ideal candidate is an entertainment obsessed content writer with experience from the industry and can tackle many assignments with creative energy! This is a full-time role under Adams Recruitment contract.

Responsibilities:

• Write synopses about German, Polish or Dutch movies and TV shows in English- everything from the latest reality TV show, to a high-budget historical drama series or pitch-perfect rom com.

• Work closely with a Writing Strategist to ensure that your copy meets the needs of the writing brief and the needs of the market.

• Embody editorial principles to create accurate, inclusive and creative synopses that are nuanced enough to resonate with different audiences.

What we are looking for:

• Near native proficiency in English & Dutch, Polish or German.

• Minimum 5 years of experience writing synopses for streamers and broadcasters-Editing articles, blog posts, reviews, or feature stories about film and TV.

• Excellent writing and editing skills.

• Mastery of AP style and attention to detail.

• Research skills to help you gather context about titles and quickly synthesize information from a variety of sources.
