The Team
Within the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team, our mission is to adapt the Global Full Price product strategy to regional needs, driving both DTC performance and wholesale growth. We play a key role in ensuring operational readiness and strategic alignment, working closely with Hubs and cross-functional teams to optimize commercial results.
The Regional Merchandising team supports this mission by curating product assortments tailored to the EMEA region, aligning global strategies with local consumer preferences. This role is essential in maintaining clear communication and seamless execution between global and regional teams, ultimately contributing to strategic growth, operational efficiency, and the overall success of product categories
The Position
Within the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team, the focus is on aligning regional product assortments with global strategies to drive commercial success. As a Junior Regional Merchandiser, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of merchandising strategies across your assigned categories within the EMEA region. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Merchandising, you will contribute through market analysis, product lifecycle management, forecasting, and the development of sales tools. This position is integral to ensuring that the product assortment reflects market needs while maintaining alignment with global direction, ultimately driving the growth and profitability of the categories in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Assortment Architecture Support: Assist in communicating product needs from regional markets to global product teams, ensuring assortments reflect regional market demands and deliver the right product mix across all channels, including Wholesale and DTC.
- Assortment & Range Planning Support: Contribute to range planning activities, supporting product availability and alignment with the regional product strategy.
- Market Insights & Feedback: Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data such as sell-in/sell-out performance, market trends, and consumer insights. Support the development of actionable feedback to inform and refine the regional product strategy.
- Sales Tools Creation: Support the creation and distribution of sales materials and tools to markets, enabling effective product presentation and sell-in.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global, hub, and planning teams to ensure regional requirements are clearly communicated and incorporated into broader business plans.
Measures of Success
- Product Selection & Trend Responsiveness: Measure assortment success through sell-out performance of new collections, speed to market for emerging trends, and performance of exclusive products.
- Customer & Market Insight: Ensure accuracy of market insights through effective demand forecasting, analysis of customer feedback, and monitoring of ratings and reviews.
- Commercial & Inventory Metrics: Track range and option count, sell-through rates, net sales, and inventory levels to assess overall assortment efficiency and commercial performance.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior.
- Proficient in merchandising tools and software (e.g., SAP, Excel).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong problem solver.
- Team player with a positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field (or equivalent experience).
