About this role

For a global fashion brand in Amsterdam, we’re hiring a Junior Regional Merchandiser to help shape assortments across EMEA. This cross-functional role supports product strategy, aligning regional needs with global direction to drive commercial success. Deadline for submissions is Monday 15th September at 10:00.

The Position
As part of the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team, the focus lies in aligning regional product assortments with global strategies to drive commercial performance. In this role as Junior Regional Merchandiser, you will support the implementation of merchandising strategies across categories in the EMEA region. Reporting to the Senior Manager Regional Merchandising, your responsibilities will include market analysis, product life cycle management, forecasting, and developing sales tools. This position plays a key role in ensuring that assortments meet regional market needs while staying consistent with global direction, ultimately contributing to the growth and profitability of the categories in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support regional assortment planning to ensure the right product mix across all channels.
  • Gather and analyze market data, sales trends, and consumer insights to inform strategy.
  • Assist in product life cycle management, from updates to phase-outs.
  • Help create and distribute sales tools to drive product sell-in and sell-out.
  • Coordinate with commercial teams on product launches and roll outs.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to align on strategy and execution.

Measures of Success

  • Strong product performance: sell-through of new collections, exclusive products, and trend-right assortments.
  • Sharp market insight: accurate demand forecasting plus positive customer ratings and reviews.
  • Commercial results: optimized range size, healthy sell-through rates, strong net sales, and balanced inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn sales data, trends, and consumer insights into action.
  • Proficient in merchandising tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Excel).
  • Clear and confident communicator, skilled in presenting to regional and global teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix environment with multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field (or equivalent experience).
