Jr. Communications Specialist

Contract Length: 3-6 months with a possibility for extension

Are you a creative communicator with a passion for digital transformation and sustainability? We are looking for a motivated Junior Communications Specialist on behalf of our client, a global leader in animal nutrition based in Amersfoort.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Content Development

• Support the creation and roll-out of digital portfolio strategy, including marketing and communications materials
• Collaborate closely with digital product teams and global marketing stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Provide day-to-day communications support for digital transformation initiatives
• Maintain and update intranet content on SharePoint
• Execute content updates by adapting presentations and materials for digital platforms
• Balance existing and new content while ensuring pages remain informative and current
• Coordinate the writing and distribution of the digital newsletter
• Liaise with and follow up with contributors across global teams to gather content
• Ensure timely delivery and quality of newsletter content

Qualifications & Skills

• Near native fluency in English (fluency in other languages is a plus)
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related role
• Education or background in communications, marketing, or related field (bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred)
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Proven ability to simplify and communicate technical or complex content to varied audiences
• Comfortable working in an international environment and building networks independently
• Familiarity with digital communication tools (SharePoint, AI video tools, Microsoft 365, etc.)
• Experience with Synthesia or similar AI content creation tools is a plus
• Technical aptitude and interest in learning new digital platforms quickly
