Technical Infrastructures Manager - International Beverage Producer

We are looking for a Local Technical Infrastructures (TI) Manager who can join the IT Team of Suntory in Amsterdam.

The TI Manager will be responsible for the overall management of all local IT technical infrastructures, including small to mid-size hardware, communication (Telecom and Network) and operational environment. He/She will help to design and coordinate the delivery of new regional infrastructure solutions. The TI Manager ensures that all IT process are fully in force and executed by local Service desk & Teams. Processes are required to be JSOX compliant with up to date documentation (flow, narratives, risk matrix, test scripts) for System Security, local Computer operations and Physical Security. The TI Manager reports to the Local IT Manager while following & applying the Regional technical standards (Network, Servers, Telecom, EUC, security, governance) in coordination with the Regional Technical SMEs (including EUC, Network, Hosting & Process Governance).

The Local TI manager is responsible for managing the Local Support Team and will manage the local IT Infrastructure Budget in line with the governance provided by the IT Manager.Responsibilities

Job Dimensions

  • Plan and drive the local implementation and maintenance of the current and future SBF Europe systems infrastructures and control environment;
  • Work closely with regional Technical Team and contributes to the definition of the regional Technology standards; and also support the ITM to capture local needs and execute regional tech project at the local level.

Decision-Making Authority

  • Work closely with the local ITM to define system's strategy and ensure Technical consistency & adherence to regional standards; and will also constantly interact with the relevant local business stakeholders and their teams as well as with peers in other foreign teams;
  • Fully manage and control resources (people/budget) assigned to the local Technical infrastructures.


  • Provide advice, technical expertise and technical consultancy to the local management (ITM & Business);
  • Implement and manage the regional technical environment for systems to meet current and future requirements. This includes LAN/WAN/ WI Fi, all computer hardware (WINTEL Server, …), operating system, Telecom and e-mail. All standards been designed and decided at the regional level;
  • Implement regional procedure to ensure that systems are fully secured (Backup & contingency plan);
  • Supervise the technical support team (external staff) helping them to provide excellent service in user support and computer operations;
  • Ensure that adequate training and documentation is provided to local support and use the systems infrastructures;
  • Manage local third party service provider based on signed SLA or OLA, KPI's and regular performance review. This includes also contract management;
  • Identify problems and enhancement to systems in order to implement a service improvement plan that improves customer satisfaction, local business efficiency and competitive advantage within the Business Unit;
  • To ensure JSOX compliance, the TI Manager needs to be fully aware, and up to date with all JSOX processes in order to apply them to the Infrastructure environment including process flow, narratives, risk matrix, test scripts for System Security, local Computer operations and Physical Security.



  • Degree in computer sciences (BAC+5) or Class A Engineer, with extensive and relevant experience in a similar role (5-10 years relevant work experience). CPG/FMCG business understanding is a pre;
  • Significant people management experience;
  • Good understanding of infrastructures landscape ( Network , System, Telecom, Hosting);
  • Strong technical background in system and network management (Windows AD, Cisco , TCP/IP, Windows OS…);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows products (Excel, Word, Ms Project);
  • Willingness to travel to other EU countries (20%-30%);
  • Knowledge of Mobility techniques and Reengineering experience.
