Being settled in the land of canals and windmills, you tend to miss the little things from home. What are your hometown celebrities up to? Where can you read your favourite magazine from home?

The Readly app (kind of like Netflix for magazines) gives you unlimited access to nearly 5.000 national and international magazines – all in one app. With users in 50 markets, Readly collaborates with around 800 publishers worldwide. So, there’s a big chance, for those who are stationed abroad for work, that the app offers magazines that you miss from home!

This summer, you’ll be able to carry around all your favourite titles in your back pocket, whether you will spend it in the Netherlands or if you have a nice trip planned.

Readly has a sweet offer for the readers of IamExpat, where you get the first two months for free! Expert tip: read Dutch magazines to improve your language skills!

How does it all work?

Interested in Readly? Here is how it works:

1. Subscribe by clicking the button below

By hitting the button below, you can subscribe for a two-month free trial and discover a range of magazines, from business to fashion. Note: the subscription transfers into a paid subscription of 9,99 euros per month. Make sure to cancel your subscription in the second month, if you don’t want to proceed with it.

2. Download the app

You can download the app on your tablet or phone, which means you can take your magazines with you everywhere you go. Do you live in a household with people who have a diverse range of interests? No problem, you can create up to 5 profiles, so you can save your personal preferences.

3. Discover

In the “discover” tab, you find a variety of popular and trending magazine titles. According to your reading habits, it will soon show you carefully selected recommended magazines. So, if you feel uninspired, the app will do the work for you.

4. Read offline

Will you be spending your summer holiday in a remote place with not a WiFi router insight? No problem, on Readly you can download your favourite magazines straight onto your device, so you’ll be able to enjoy your favourite magazines wherever you are. If you open a magazine, it will automatically download. You can find it under the tab “downloads” in your personal profile.

5. Sit back and enjoy your holiday
