Mauritshuis hopes to fundraise five million euros

By Anita Kalmane

At the end of April, Mauritshuis started a new fundraising campaign to raise five million euros for their expansion project "Mauritshuis building for the future." The total cost of the project is estimated at approximately 22 million euros, most of which has already been gathered.

The expansion will start next year and continue till 2014, but visitors do not need to worry as the museum will be open and around 100 highlights will be shown at the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag.
