Together, the municipality of Amsterdam and I amsterdam have announced that, throughout the month of February, a “buy one get one free” offer will apply on tickets to 60 different cultural attractions and institutions in the Dutch capital!

1 + 1 gratis on museum, theatre, and concert tickets in Amsterdam

Throughout February 2023, anyone who buys a ticket for one of the dozens of participating venues will be able to receive a second ticket, completely free of charge. There’s plenty on offer, with something guaranteed to appeal to just about any age and interest.

Whether you’re interested in a trip to the theatre or cinema, would love to experience live music at a concert, or want to delve into history or the art world at a museum - there’s something for everyone!

How does it work?

On the Iamsterdam website, you’ll be able to find a booklet containing a list of all the participating venues, as well as vouchers for all the available activities. The booklet was also distributed as part of the latest edition of the Uitkrant; a free magazine which can be picked up at bookshops, cinemas, museums, theatres, concert halls, supermarkets, cafes and bars across the city.

All you need to do is pick out an activity, invite along a friend or family member, and arrange your exciting day out! Tickets for some of the venues can be purchased online ahead of time, otherwise, just take the booklet along with you and buy your tickets on the day at the ticket office.
