Blurb & GRID2012 photo contest

In cooperation with Viewbook, the International Photo Festival GRID2012 and the online publishing platform Blurb are proud to announce the first edition of Blurb & GRID Talent Award 2012.

Both professional and amateur photographers are invited to submit a photo story or series related to the theme "Your Reality," which is in line with the central theme of GRID2012: Urban Reality Check - Reflections on changing behaviour and space.

Worldwide society and communities are constantly changing, which have positive and negative effects on its people, both economic and social. Assess and consider the changes that you perceive around you, document these and express your personal vision of reality.

Competition details
The deadline for entries is Friday, June 22, 11.59pm Central European Time. The three prizewinners will be announced and awarded during the Blurb & GRID Award Ceremony during GRID2012 in Amsterdam on Friday, June 29, from 8pm onwards.

Participants can upload their materials in a personal portfolio, which at least include:
A photo series (of 3 - 10 photos)
Description of the project (max. 300 words)
Short personal bio
Optional: A lay out of the pages (max. 3 spreads)

The first prize winner will receive five printed copies of his or her book by Blurb and one year ViewBookPro subscription (valued 190 dollars)
The second prize winner will receive Blurb vouchers of 150 euros
The third prize winner will receive Blurb vouchers of 100 euros.
