On April 4, the publication of the English-language web magazine Crossroads was discontinued due to "end of external funding."

Crossroads, a valuable source for those seeking information about Maastricht and surroundings, was first launched (in print form) in December 2001 and published by the European Journalism Centre in Maastricht.

"On behalf of the European Journalism Centre, I would like to thank you all for your interest and contributions to our magazine for the past ten years and hope this is only a temporary goodbye," wrote Crossroads Editor, Sueli Brodin.
