Want to make a real impact behind the scenes in Schiphol-Rijk? As Handyman, you keep this international workspace running. With your proactive attitude, every workday starts safely and smoothly – for everyone. This is a temporary position for the minimum duration of 6 months. 

Your job as a Handyman:
In this diverse role, you're the driving force behind building maintenance and facility operations. You spot issues before they arise, support your colleagues, and ensure everything works seamlessly—from lighting and access systems to office supplies and even company housing. Your tasks include:

  • Performing minor repairs and building inspections;
  • Supporting internal moves and access management;
  • Managing mail, office supplies, and service providers;
  • Assisting with expat housing and fleet coordination;
  • Supporting safety and compliance efforts.

Your workplace:
You’ll work closely with the Expert Facility Service team and collaborate with various departments. The culture is international and hands-on, where ownership and team spirit go hand in hand.

What do you bring to the table?
A proactive, service-minded attitude is key in this position. You work independently, stay calm under pressure, and communicate clearly. This is essential when solving problems and supporting a safe and efficient workplace. Furthermore, you have: 

  • a driver's licence.
  • previous experience in a technical/facility role.
  • understanding of building systems and basic tech skills (E+WTB).
  • fluent in English, any level of Dutch is welcomed.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.

What’s in it for you?

  • Up to € 2.500,- per month based on 37,5 hours.
  • 13th month salary and 8% holiday allowance.
  • Travel reimbursement per km by foot, bike or car. Full travel reimbursement for public transport.
  • 25 holiday days (based on a full time contract).
EUR 2500 - 2800
