We are recruiting a fulltime on-site Facilities Support Officer who will ensure constant coverage of the mailroom as well as supports the smooth running of the office environment. Interested? Your job as a Facilities Support Officer 
In this role, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the mailroom and office environment. In addition, you are the go-to contact for contractors and suppliers, coordinate repairs, installations, and facility support. This includes guiding them on-site, monitor progress, document work, and follow up when needed. With your technical know-how, you’ll also support internal office moves, set up meeting rooms and handle furniture arrangements. You’ll join a small team of three colleagues, where flexibility and reliability are key and you report to the Facilities Manager.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Assist with furniture moves, meeting room setups, and workspace arrangements
  • Support ad hoc requests from departments (e.g. event setups, office moves, light repairs)
  • Coordinate with external service providers and suppliers
  • Monitor and report facility-related issues (e.g. broken equipment, safety hazards)
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and functional office environment
  • Perform basic administrative tasks (e.g. filing, updating records, ordering supplies)
  • Support document management and maintain departmental systems
  • Act as the right hand and backup to the Facilities Manager, providing support across all facility-related operations

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • Previous experience in mailroom or general office support is a must
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
  • Good communication skills and a service-oriented attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a big plus
  • Valid driving licence is an advantage
