Our client is a global leader in the design and production of advanced R&D and pilot process equipment for the food industry. To support their international expansion, they are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Project Manager - Process Engineer to join their team in the Utrecht region.
In this position, you will be the driving force behind machine development projects, coordinating the process from initial planning to delivery. Working closely with various internal departments, you'll focus on smart solutions, efficient timelines, budget control, and high-quality results. You will also act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication regarding expectations, documentation, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of technical projects for new equipment, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Translate project goals and requirements into structured processes and technical documentation
- Act as a liaison between departments to streamline communication and execution
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage potential risks or delays
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding planning, expectations, and technical updates
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal project management and engineering workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Product Design, Technical Business Administration, or similar
- Experience in machine building, ideally within the food processing industry
- Familiarity with process diagrams (PFD, P&ID) and hygienic equipment design
- Fluent in English, and preferably Dutch or willing to learn Dutch alongside - additional language(s) are a plus
- Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset
- Able to work independently with excellent planning and prioritization skills
- Based in the central Netherlands
