Job description

As part of the site-based technical team, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building-related systems. Your tasks include:

• Solving malfunctions in mechanical and climate control systems
• Performing function tests on emergency showers and conducting legionella prevention and sanitary inspections
• Conducting general building inspections and small repairs (e.g., minor painting, roof checks, door hardware)
• Supporting internal relocations and facility-related site activities
• Logging and reporting completed work through digital systems
• Supervising vendors and contractors on-site

You’ll work with installations such as boilers, chillers, air handling units, HVAC controls, lighting, fire doors, sanitary systems, water tanks, and rainwater drainage.

Job requirements

• A completed trade or education, preferably in HVAC (or similar);
• Minimum of 3 years in climate control systems and/or HVAC;
• Communication skills in Afrikaans and fluent in English.
