About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced packaging systems at customer sites across Europe and worldwide. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that customers benefit from smooth operations and excellent technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission automated packaging machines;
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance;
- Analyze and resolve technical issues on-site and remotely;
- Provide technical support and training to customers;
- Maintain service documentation and reports;
- Work closely with the engineering and production teams to optimize system performance.
Job requirements
- Technical degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar;
- Hands-on experience in a field service or technical maintenance role;
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills;
- Ability to travel frequently across Europe (approx. 50-70%);
- Fluent in English (German or Dutch is a plus);
- EU work authorization or willingness to relocate (visa support provided).
