Banner specifications
Types and dimensions (width x height in pixels)
Provide only the ones included in your advertising agreement.
- Medium rectangle: 300x250 (desktop, tablet & mobile)
- Leaderboard: 728x90 (desktop & tablet)
- Half Page ad: 300x600 (desktop & tablet)
- Billboard: 970x250 (desktop)
- Anchor ad: 970x90 & (desktop & tablet)
- Anchor ad: 320x50 (mobile)
Maximum file size
- Image files (jpeg, gif, png): 150 kb
- HTML banners: 150 kb
Guidelines
- URL: Please provide web address for linking banner ads
- Accepted image types: jpeg, gif, png
- Third party ads accepted
- Flash (swf) banners are no longer accepted as the new default settings of Google Chrome and other browsers limit the flash display capabilities
Delivery
- Please provide the creatives in a compressed zip or rar file.
Design
- All ads must have a defined edge such as a background colour or key line.
- Creatives with white backgrounds should have a clearly visible border, either solid colour or 1 pixel line.
- Add a "call to action" to the banner (e.g. "learn more", "click here", "find out more", "get your tickets here" etc.)
- The text should be in English
- If the banner is animated, create a smooth image transition (3 or 4 seconds between each rotation)
HTML banners
- The maximum weight of the .html file should be 150Kb
- Any accompanying images should be provided in the format of jpeg or png
- Any accompanying CSS or JS should be provided in the format of .css and .js
- All assets and code for an HTML5 ad should be zipped and delivered together as one file. Once the .zip file is uncompressed, the ad (an .html file) must be viewable without a network connection (all code and assets used in the ad is contained in the .zip file)
- The .html file must include the path to all above files
- Important: The HTML banners must include click tags. Follow the guidelines here.
