Zembla is a Dutch documentary television programme that featured a documentary called "Minister van Tabak," which investigates ties between the Rutte cabinet's Minister of Health, Edith Schippers, her political party, the VVD, and the tobacco industry in the Netherlands.
While Schippers and the VVD argue that to choose or not choose to smoke is an individual's right and responsibility, some argue that the VVD is too strongly influenced by the Dutch tobacco industry lobby.
