Santa Claus is coming to Netflix: Stream the first-ever Dutch Christmas film

The first-ever Dutch Christmas movie, De Familie Claus (The Claus Family) will be available to stream on Netflix from December 7.

The film follows the story of - as the name suggests - the Claus family. Since his father died, young Jules Claus has lost all interest in celebrating Christmas. But one day he finds a magical snow globe in his grandfather’s toy shop and discovers that his grandfather is the real Santa Claus. Jules decides to help his grandfather, and on his journey to spreading Christmas cheer around the world, he learns to love and appreciate the festive season again.
When can you watch it?
De Familie Claus was scheduled for theatrical release this winter, but due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, the streaming service decided to release it directly to Netflix. It will be available to stream in the Netherlands and Belgium from December 7 and will launch globally in 2021.
