In many companies with international staff, English has become the primary language of communication, almost by default, and employees often want to improve their English language skills.

The demand for international education is increasing, and the use of English - both for instruction and doing business - proves that the international community we live in is something we embrace.

English In Company training

This year has seen immense growth in the English In Company training programme delivered by the BSN Language Centre - 240% increase in demand compared to last year, an amazing result!

Companies in a wide variety of businesses - from IT and technical advice to educational institutes and governmental organisations - all recognise the need for a good command of Business English to communicate effectively with their international customers. The BSN Language Centre delivers customised course content to suit employees’ learning needs: see the In Company course.

Dutch for career opportunities

Dutch remains the main language of the Netherlands and being able to communicate effectively in the host country’s language, increases your career opportunities. The BSN Language Centre offers several courses for adults: General Dutch, NT2 Exam Preparation course, Private Lessons, and Online Dutch for your specific learning requirements.

Those people looking for a course specifically aimed at learning Dutch for business purposes will be suited to an In Company Dutch course that can be tailored to the needs of an employer.

Open Day on September 2, 2017

Those interested in learning, or improving their English or Dutch language skills are invited to the Language Centre on the British School Leidschenveen Campus. During the Open Day, visitors are able to meet language teachers, take a look around the facilities and take a brief test to establish their language level and register for one of the courses.

No prior registration is required - visitors are invited to come along and talk to staff about their English or Dutch language needs between 10am-2pm. Refreshments will be available and children are welcome too - there will be some fun activities to entertain them.

The BSN Language Centre is a green and white building - one of three buildings on the British School campus - and is easily accessible from the A12 or A4 and by public transport to Leidschenveen station.

As well as this special Open Day, The Language Centre also holds Open Registration Mondays between 12pm to 6pm - simply register here.
