An international organization in Amsterdam is looking for a reliable and hands-on Facility Services Expert. You ensure smooth daily operations, solve minor technical issues, and coordinate vendors. Your job as an Expert Facility Service
As a Facility Services Expert, you ensure smooth daily operations of the building, systems, and services. You work on-site, take initiative, and solve minor technical issues independently. In this role, you are the first point of contact for internal colleagues and external vendors. You coordinate tasks, support vendor selection, and maintain overviews in Excel. You also take responsibility for safety procedures and project-based tasks. Further responsibilities include the:

  • solving small technical problems and supporting workplace moves.
  • coordinating external vendors for cleaning, catering, and maintenance.
  • managing company apartments and lease car administration.
  • supporting indirect procurement and supplier comparisons.
  • fulfilling First Aid duties (training provided if needed).

You work a 37.5-hour work week (7.5 hours per day) and can count on a hybrid working model.

Your workplace
You’ll join the Facility Team and report to the Team Lead Facilities. You work closely with a part-time Facility Assistant and receive administrative support from the Business Management team. The indirect manager is the Head of Facility & Business Management. The work culture is open, structured, and task-focused, with room for ownership and practical solutions.

What do you bring to the table?
You are reliable, structured, and solution-oriented. You enjoy working independently and keeping operations running efficiently. You understand how technical systems work and you feel confident managing practical facility tasks. You stay calm under pressure and take pride in keeping things organized. Your strong communication and planning skills make you a valuable sparring partner for both internal stakeholders and suppliers. To be successful in this role, you have:

  • professional level of English, Dutch is a plus.
  • a degree (HBO) in Facility Management, Business Administration or related is a plus.
  • at least 3 years of relevant work experience in an office environment.
  • knowledge of facility systems and office equipment.
  • a valid driver’s license (B).
  • proficiency in Excel for facility overviews.
