On May 26, Wim van de Donk, Commissioner of the Queen of the Netherlands for the Province of North Brabant, is launching Vincent van Gogh's online biography.

The North Brabant Museum, which is famous for the Dutch artist's paintings collection, will be closed till the end of 2012 and this initiative - along with various other digital exhibitions and projects - aims at attracting visitors to its website.

Vincent Van Gogh's online biography stands out mainly due to the fact that his pictures, letters and life events are linked to locations (including audio clips and historical photos) in the Netherlands through GPS technology. In fact, the museum plans to enrich it with more locations from other countries where Van Gogh lived (Belgium, France and United Kingdom).
