Turkey leftover recipes

Dec 23, 2011

Even though you are probably concentrating on your Christmas day menu and all the other social festivities you have planned over the coming weeks. I am already thinking, "Yes, but what about afterwards?"

And by that, I mean, what to do with all your leftover turkey? I know you may think now, that its just not a possibility, but you know as well as I do that come December 26, you will open the fridge, and there it’ll be, staring back at you! And, after all, there are only so many turkey sandwiches you can eat.

So, fear not, I have some great recipes to help you get the best out of that bird. I always think that after eating turkey and all the trimmings, what I really need is contrast.

That is, the way I ate the Christmas turkey with potatoes, stuffing, bread sauce, cranberry sauce and an array of vegetables, should be completely different from the way I eat the leftovers.

So, my solution is spice - I like to use these flavours to liven up my leftovers.
