Rotterdam video: Welcome to my hometown

Rotterdam has been crowned European City of the Year 2015 by the Academy of Urbanism. The award goes to the best, most enduring or most improved urban environment in Europe.

Rotterdam’s triumph inspired local photographer and filmmaker Eric van Vuuren to create a stunning aerial video, taking in the city’s iconic architecture and urban design.

The video, a personal project, was "flown, filmed and edited" by van Vuuren, using just a DJI Phantom 2 with a GoPro Hero 3.
