Golden Temple is not a one-hit wonder; they have been in Amsterdam for years - 40 years to be exact - with power bowls for the vegetarian and vegan. On the menu? Colourful, healthy dishes without meat or fish, such as Indian dahl, Iranian quinoa, Indonesian tempeh salads and light Vietnamese rice paper rolls. This vegetarian oasis is named after an Indian temple where thousands of people can get a vegetarian meal every day for free.

The perfect spot for this would be restaurant Leon, which serves naturally fast food that is affordable at the same time. The two founders asked themselves: what would fast food look like in heaven? Their answer? Tasty and healthy, inspired by Mediterranean cuisine.
