The main show features a 5D Flight Experience over the Netherlands and takes you on a sensational journey that lets you see the country in a whole new light.

A fresh look at the Netherlands

It was time for something new! The Netherlands is evolving, and THIS IS HOLLAND is evolving with it. In the new main show, you’ll experience the country as it is today: vibrant, dynamic and full of surprises. Thanks to the latest technologies and ultra-sharp footage, you’ll feel closer to the Netherlands than ever before. Fly like a bird and marvel at the diversity, beauty and richness of the Netherlands. You’ll see places and experience the Netherlands in a way you’ve never done before.

New locations and enhanced effects

During this flight for all ages, you’ll visit both iconic and new locations, such as the windmills of Kinderdijk, the traditional Skûtsjesilen sailing event, and the energetic Lake Dance festival. The special effects are more immersive than ever: you’ll feel the wind in your hair, smell the flower fields, and you'll glide smoothly over the Dutch landscape.

The journey starts on the ground

The new main show follows in the path of the recently updated preshows, which tell the story of the Netherlands. These introductions guide you through the fascinating history of the Netherlands, with a special focus on the centuries-long battle against the water. Presenter Jolijn Henneman compellingly explains how the Netherlands was shaped - both literally and figuratively - by dikes, rivers and ingenious waterworks.

From coast to countryside

For this production, a dedicated team spent months traveling across the country. Using drones and advanced camera technology, they captured everything from the North Sea coast to the vast farmlands. Every shot was carefully crafted to make you feel as if you’re truly there. Where helicopters were once used, drones now deliver even more stunning visuals. This show is not just a technical masterpiece, but also a tribute to the rich diversity of the Netherlands.
