Since the beach season (May 15 - October 1) is over, dogs are again allowed to roam freely on both the Noorderstrand (North Beach) and Zuiderstrand (South Beach), along with the other free-run areas for dogs in The Hague.

Until May 15, dogs are not required to be leashed on the beach but "owners are asked to show as much consideration as possible for other visitors to the beach."

The clean-up rule for dogs throughout the city also applies to the beach (fines).
