Anticipating the new Amsterdam Zuid Station

May 13, 2017

Graphic designers, A2Studio based in Rotterdam, have created a video of what they anticipate the new Amsterdam Zuid Station will look like in 2028.

According to the studio, stations are slowly transforming into a connected network of space rather than a singular destination, as we currently know it.

"What if it could be an assemblage of public spaces networked within the city, where the train, bus or any future mode of transport forms a natural extension to urban life? Imagine this new connector mediating the pulse of the people, measured by movement, activity and exchange and form a vibrant heart to a new urban quarter of Amsterdam."
