Many people these days do not stop studying once they have an undergraduate degree: frequently they want something more.

It could be another exciting opportunity to advance their career, or to embark on an entirely new direction. Yet for those already working full-time, finding the right course to fit in with an already full life can be a challenge.

At Webster University in the Netherlands, however, graduate studies are offered with enough choice, convenience and flexibility to fit into anyone's life.

Graduate study at Webster University

Webster University offers both full- and part-time study programmes, with the option to take a term off with no financial penalty, and all their courses are scheduled in the evening from 6 to 10 pm.

They also focus on offering a personalised, student-focused education with a global perspective. Students at Webster University represent more than 50 countries from around the world and the staff and faculty are just as diverse.

Academic advising is very important part of studying at Webster University; each student has an individual academic programme plan and an Academic Advisor to help them prepare for a successful start to their studies.

Webster University Master programmes

Webster’s Master programmes allow students to deepen and develop their knowledge in a practical, specialised concentration. Each concentration comprises seven to nine core courses, supplemented by three to five elective courses.

The Masters courses are:
› Master of Business Administration (MBA)
› MA in Management and Leadership
› MA in International Relations
› MA in International NGOs
› MA in Media Communication
› MA in Counseling Psychology

One-year MBA

Webster University also offers the opportunity to do a one-year Master of Business Administration programme, consisting of the MBA core courses with two electives related to professional and personal development.

The course is full-time and must be completed in one academic year (10 months). There is also an opportunity to add a study-abroad component in spring.

Terms and campuses

There are five different dates available for students to start: August, October, January, March and May. A full-time programme is two courses per term, while a part-time programme is one course per term.

While the main university location is in Leiden, Webster University also has one location in the World Trade Centre (WTC) in the Amsterdam area. In this way, graduate business classes are more accessible for students who work in or near the capital.
