    Teylers Museum is the oldest museum in the Netherlands, which has been open to the public since 1784. Furthermore, it's the best-preserved public arts and science building on earth. Its permanent collection comprises fossils, historic instruments for generating electricity and paintings by artists like Rembrandt, Michelangelo and Raphael. It even has some dinosaur fossils!
