The Municipality of The Hague has launched a photo contest to find the best image of the city.

EUROCITIES, a network of major European cities that brings together local governments of more than 140 big cities in over 30 countries, is celebrating its 25-year jubilee and putting together a photo album of its member cities, including The Hague.

The Municipality of The Hague is now asking local, young (between 15 and 25 years old) photographers to submit photos that reflect the "international city of peace and justice" that they would like to share with other young Europeans.

Photos can be submitted (in Dutch) until May 22, while the winning photo will be published in the EUROCITIES photo album and the winner will enjoy a three-day trip to Genoa in Italy.
