MK24: Art education in Amsterdam

Situated in Amsterdam, MK24 is an art education centre which offers numerous courses and workshops in the field of visual arts and multimedia for both amateurs and professionals. All classical disciplines such as painting, drawing, screen-printing, and sculpting are represented, and courses in the areas of photography, graphic design and multimedia are also available.

Are you considering a career as a digital designer or are you simply interested in the possibilities of digital design? MK24 is now offering a one-year digital design course in English: 36 lessons on Monday evenings from 8-10:30 pm, starting September 9, 2019.

During this year, you will develop and design a brand strategy for an existing or new brand, or a theme of your choice. You will also get to know the basics of photography, Photoshop, After Effects, Sketch, WordPress, digital typography and graphic design.

MK24 goes international

During the autumn holiday break, nine renowned international artists from different countries will offer inspirational, educational and interesting courses in various disciplines. Led by artists who are very active in their field, these intensive and high-level masterclasses are a wonderful opportunity for all those eager to learn to look at their field in a different way and discover new possibilities.

MK goes International takes place during the autumn holiday: October 21-25 from 10am – 3:30pm. 

About MK24

The MK24 teaching team consists of professional designers and artists. They all work in their own field and share their experiences and expertise through specialised lessons at MK24. Some courses are in English, while others are in Dutch and English simultaneously. This creates a pleasant interaction between Dutch and non-Dutch speaking students.

The maximum number of students in a class is 10 to 14 - that leaves plenty of room for personal coaching.
