Every year thousands of people gather in Limburg and Brabant, where the carnival is celebrated. One of the most known - if not THE most known - places to celebrate is Maastricht, the oldest city in the Netherlands.

This year the Maastricht Carnival officially started on March 6 (midday) and ended on March 8 (midnight). Next year mark the date February 19 -21 and join the party!
