Spring has sprung and the Easter weekend (April 6 - 8) is here! In case you are still wondering what to expect from this long weekend, take a look at the following ideas and activity suggestions.

Amsterdam has a lot to offer during this weekend break, from lovely brunch with delicious Easter specialties to egg hunts in beautiful outdoor venues.

› Breakfast and brunch Easter Brunch Cruise

Blue Boat canal-cruise operator offers a two-hour Easter Brunch Cruise through Amsterdam’s waterways with a cost ranging from 40,50 to 45 euros.

› Amusement parks
The Netherlands has several exciting amusement parks worth visiting. If you haven't had the chance to visit yet, Easter Monday could be a good day to check out some of the most popular amusement parks in the country such as Efteling and Walibi World.

› Banks, post offices and many businesses are usually closed on Easter Sunday and Monday.
› Some stores are open later or close earlier than usual and some are closed all day.
