Creative programming

For more than 30 years, De Brakke Grond has hosted an array of dynamic events supporting Dutch, Belgian and international artists, musicians and producers. 

From live music and art exhibitions to theatre, festivals, workshops, lectures and much more, this art centre is bustling with unique activities. 

De Brakke Grond is a great place to enjoy cultural entertainment where language isn’t a problem, with a compelling programme of events suitable for an international audience.

Flemish hospitality

In addition to their avant-garde, artistic agenda, De Brakke Grond is also home to a cosy cafe and restaurant including a selection of more over 40 delicious Belgian beers.

Guests can take a seat in their outdoor terrace, with free wifi access, to enjoy a meal or drink in the finest tradition of Flemish hospitality.
