It seems Google likes pulling people's legs! Last year, it was the infamous self-driving bicycle. This year, Google decided to adopt another local icon - the Dutch weather - and turn it into Google Wind; repurposing windmills to blow the rain away.
Perhaps attempting to play weatherman is somewhat more ludicrous than the driverless bike, but eh, if you're Google, you can get away with almost anything.
