Coronavirus: New patient total 614

The RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and Environment) reports that another 111 people in the Netherlands have tested positive for COVID-19, the illness that is caused by the new coronavirus. This means that the new total of infected people is 614. No new deaths have been reported.

Current coronavirus situation in the Netherlands

Of the 614 people who are infected, 273 live in the province of North Brabant and 80 in the province of Utrecht.

According to the RIVM, of all the confirmed infected patients, 102 people work in the healthcare sector. The true number of infected people is most likely higher, NOS reports.
