Zein Activity Day Camps: A summer holiday to remember!
Summer is a time when Zein welcomes children to join the adventure for a holiday to be remembered.
The run-up to summer has been very different this year. With children attending school on a part-time basis, bursting to see their friends and spend time outdoors, and parents working from home, the prospect of a long summer holiday isn’t as exciting as usual. With air travel to sunnier places restricted, families find themselves exploring alternatives closer to home.
Zein’s Summer Activity Camps offer a wide variety of day-long multi-activity and themed holiday programmes that allow children aged 4-12 to have fun, learn new skills, discover new talents… and make a few new friends along the way!
Something for every child
Campers can express their creativity while refining their artistic skills at art and craft camp, delve into the world of theatre and improvisation at performing arts camp, study bubbles and bangs at science camp, embark on a culinary journey at master chef camp and enjoy improving team-building skills at sports camp. There is something for every child.
Each week, Zein campers are grouped according to their age, enabling them to participate in age-appropriate activities and workshops designed to spark children’s interest and develop their skills and self-confidence, all while having fun with their peers in a safe and welcoming environment. Early in the week, sessions often take the form of team building and group activities that promote friendships and allow the children to bond as a group.
Summer is a time for rest, but also for exploration, sparking joy and building friendships. Zein has been running children's Holiday Camps for the international community of The Hague region for over 10 years. Over time, they’ve developed - and constantly improved - an approach which provides children of all ages a great camp holiday activity experience where every day is different.
The camps are organised and led by experienced childcare teachers, all of whom are registered professionals with extensive pedagogical and safety training. The teachers passionately lead the themes related to their area of expertise – whilst paying particular attention to ensuring every child feels at home at camp.
Provided by registered childcare provider Zein International Childcare, the camps are run in The Hague region at multiple spacious locations with outstanding indoor and outdoor facilities. Camps cost 99,50 euros per day, for a full-day programme from 8am until 6.30pm. Cost includes warm, organic meals and snacks, all workshop activities, and learning and play materials.
Unlike most other day camps, most families (where both parents are working or studying) can claim some of these costs back via the Dutch Childcare Allowance (kinderopvangtoeslag). The Zein office team can even provide full assistance in applying for this subsidy.
