Connect with a global network through Kellogg-WHU’s EMBA Program

Pursuing an Executive MBA can open up a whole new world - not just through learning about yourself, but also through connecting with like-minded professionals all over the globe.

Through its business school partnerships, Kellogg-WHU offers students the opportunity to make international connections and be part of a growing global network.

The Kellogg partnerships

Kellogg-WHU’s Executive Master of Business Administration Program (EMBA) is based on a true partnership between the Kellogg School of Management in the US, WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany, and four other Global Network partners across Asia, the Middle East and North America.

The Kellogg-WHU curriculum is fully integrated with all partners, providing consistently high teaching standards across the Network and flexibility for students.

Kellogg staff and lecturers teach Kellogg-WHU students at both the WHU campus in Germany, and Kellogg campuses in Chicago and Miami. Kellogg-WHU EMBA students are also taught by Kellogg and local professors during the global electives taking place at partner institutions.

More than an alliance

Unlike other institutions, which offer rudimentary "global alliances" via MBA exchange programs, Kellogg-WHU true business school partnership provides an integrated learning system by sharing best practices in teaching, entrepreneurship, marketing and recruiting.

By combining their intercontinental EMBA networks, Kellogg-WHU offers students and graduates the opportunity to tap into exclusive business networks all around the world.

In the first year all new Kellogg EMBA Global Network cohorts gather at the Kellogg Chicago campus to meet, network and learn together.

Students then meet each other again during the second year global elective modules, allowing them to build strong bonds and further develop international connections.

School partnerships transforming the MBA industry

School partnerships have been on the rise for the past five years and are changing the MBA industry in many positive ways by increasing overall program quality and offering additional benefits for students.

Kellogg-WHU is riding at the forefront of this trend, allowing students to advance their career on an international scale: having a joint-degree from two reputable business schools opens up career opportunities across multiple countries and continents.

International partnerships also enable students to refine their skills in specific fields of expertise, whether doing business in China or Latin America, or nurturing a strong professional network in Europe and North America.

Kellogg and WHU: a great partnership

To develop their leading EMBA program, both Kellogg and WHU have brought their own strengths to the table:

› WHU’s strengths

WHU provides easy access to the European base and to a huge regional alumni network, which is particularly strong in entrepreneurship. WHU also provides local knowledge of the European market through its renowned faculty.

› Kellogg’s strengths

Kellogg’s main contribution in this partnership is its renowned faculty, its great legacy and reputable name, its huge alumni and experts’ network, and the sharing of worldwide connections and best business practices. All very enriching aspects for both partners.

When unified into Kellogg-WHU, the above aspects form a complimentary balance - the ideal combination to nurture the world’s next generation of leaders!
