Financial Controller - Automotive Supply Chain

We are looking for a financial and accounting professional to join a supply chain company whose primary focus is in the electric vehicle industry. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as a Financial Controller for a very large international company. You will assist in various tasks which include period closings, budgeting, forecasting, and invoice management. As a Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the completion of the annual budget and audit processes;

  • Completing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures;

  • Creating reports to track and provide updates regarding the Account Receivables aging;

  • Assisting in completing the tax declarations for the various European entities;

  • Checking and completing the outstanding invoices in a timely manner prior to the monthly settlement;

  • Inputting account vouchers, reviewing invoices, and checking deposit details;

  • Assisting in the stock management and materials balance in order to assist the purchasing team.

This role will have a monthly salary in the range of €4000 - €4500 gross per month, depending on knowledge level and experience. Additional benefits will be discussed in further detail throughout the interview process.

In order to succeed in this role, we ask that you have:

* 3-5 years of financial or accounting experience, logistics or large international organization preferred;
* Minimum HBO level educational background in accounting or related field;
* Strong technical skillset in Office software applications;
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently;
* Some familiarity and experience with Twinfield would be considered a plus;
* Strong command of the English language required, Dutch preferred.
