Our client is a leading global lifestyle brand passionate about empowering people to shape the world. They are looking for a Key Account Manager for two of their popular business areas. You will be focused on the Benelux market and have direct sales responsibility of defined channels / accounts. This is a key role in the development of the brand because you will be directly involved with increasing the distribution and brand awareness (business development). Responsibilities:

  • Manage key accounts by showing operational excellence- customer management from day-to-day to annual negotiations.
  • Develop strategies and key account plans to ensure growth and development of the brand.
  • Find new distribution opportunities (acquisition).
  • Build sustainable growth with selected customers.
  • Prepare presentations and execute sales planning and forecasting.
  • Analyze, translate, and present market data
  • New business development.
  • Create targets on an annual basis and covert them to actionable strategies for both new business and existing accounts.
  • Create sustainable and profitable business plans that aim to increase product distribution.
  • Work closely with trade marketing to develop sales concepts and promotional plans.

You will play an active role in the business development of the brand in the Benelux so you would work together with your team to contribute to the national growth plan of about 30% per year. Sound like a challenge?Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5-8 years in a role with similar responsibilities.
  • Experience in working for an A brand and a network in the DIY / garden center channel and e-commerce.
  • Experience in concept selling and joint business planning
  • Experience with working within a cross functional and international team of strong professional
  • Experience in developing strategic plans and translating this in actionable strategies.
  • Fluency in Dutch & English
  • Analytical mind set / make use of available market data
  • Able and motivated to work in an international environment
