Irina Volgareva

Irina is a conscientious citizen and writer. Originally from Russia, she is living and working in Amsterdam. Back in 2017, to share her experience after moving to a new country she started a blog called 'Amsterdammer' and based on the Telegram app. Written in her native language the blog gained a loyal following among the Russian-speaking community of the Netherlands and across the world. Thanks to that in 2020, it has grown into an official website amsterdammer.ru. And because the Telegram app is rapidly gaining international popularity recently it has also acquired an English-speaking twin. Irina's writing is focused on Amsterdam and the Netherlands as a place to live. Therefore both her blogs and the website are full of various useful and occasionally funny notes on Dutch innovations, urban development, sustainability and marketing topped with practical tips and guides.
