Quality and Compliance Specialist | English

Do you want to join an international organization and use your experience to maximize your and our client's potential? For their European Distribution Center in Amsterdam, I am looking for a Quality and Compliance Specialist. 

In this role, you are responsible for managing assigned factories in all aspects of quality and compliance, including design, development, production, and end-customer quality. This role also oversees health, safety, environmental compliance, regulatory compliance, and restricted substances compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Follow established quality processes, including creating Quality Investigation Presentations (QIP), suggesting next steps, and managing reworks/repairs.
• Request and maintain Bills of Materials and technical drawings from vendors.
• Monitor divestment of current factories, including the quarantine and destruction process of goods.
• Follow European regulations and advise management if they pertain to products.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the optical industry is required ( any kind of role within this industry is taken into consideration)
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset
• Fluency in English
• Flexibility
