Our client is an industry leader, celebrated for revolutionizing technology and shaping global trends in the high-tech sector. On behalf of them, we are looking for a Financial Administrator to join their team in Amsterdam.

Job Description:

The Financial Administrator will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in expense and accounts payable administration. This includes:

• Reviewing and verifying expenses to ensure compliance with company policies, accurately recording expenses, and preparing payments in a timely manner
• Assisting in monthly closing activities and preparation of international VAT returns
• Acting as a backup for account receivables
• Preparing internal and external audit requests
• Working closely with the team to identify areas of improvement, implement new processes, and provide support for ongoing projects

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of SAP
• Experience with cost centre administration
• Prior experience working in an international setting is preferred

Requirements and Skills:

• Fluency in English + some knowledge in Dutch and/or Mandarin is highly preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suites and SAP
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week)
• Accurate and analytical
• Good cross-cultural communication and social skills
• Proactive and flexible with a strong motivation to learn and grow
