• Several stops at summer flower & dahlia gardens, including one of the largest in Europe (De Tulperij, Castle Keukenhof and Tulip Barn).

Cost of the tour

• 85 euros for a 180-minute GPS audio tour in a Renault Twizy, suitable for 2 people (2 adults or 1 adult + 1 child)
• (Entry to the summer flower gardens is free!)

Available tour time slots

• Morning tour: 10am-1pm
• Afternoon tour: 3pm-6pm

Tour requirements

If you want to take the tour, you'll have to adhere to the following:

• The driver has to be over 21 years old, have a valid ID and driving licence and have at least 3 years of driving experience.
• A refundable deposit of 150 euros must be made, to be paid with a credit card, PIN (they offer the possibility to refund PIN) or cash.
• Own risk amounts to 500 euros per booked vehicle.
• The vehicles are all risk insured including passenger insurance.
• If you are not from Europe, North America, South America or Australia, please bring an international driver's license if you do not have a driver's license in English.
• If there is a second driver, make sure he / she also brings a passport or ID and driver's license.
• No alcohol is allowed during the tour.

Dune and flower tour checklist

Some extra info and tips before you go:

• The start and end location is Meer en Duin 36 in Lisse.
• Arrive 20 minutes before the start of your GPS audio tour to check in, pay the deposit and get instructions from the staff.
• Tip: You are advised to dress warmly and in layers. From late March to early May, the temperatures can range from 5 to 20+ degrees. Moreover, as the cars don't have windows, so it can get quite windy.
• Children's car seats are available for children from 1 to 12 years old.
• Small dogs (weighing less than 8kg) are allowed.
• Renzy's GPS tours are NOT suitable for wheelchair users, travellers with back or mobility problems, pregnant travellers, travellers with heart problems or other serious medical conditions.
• In case of bad weather or an unfavourable forecast, side windows will be placed in the Twizy, so that you are dry during the GPS audio tour. There are also warm blankets in the back of the Twizy.
• In the event of cancellations, Renzy requires a written cancellation notice per email 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Check out their terms, conditions & cancellation policy.

How to get there

Make sure you arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled tour timeslot, to make time for the check-in and vehicle instruction by the Renzy staff. Renzy is located in Lisse and is easily accessible by car or public transport. If you plan to come by car, check the Renzy website for directions.

Public transportation

Below are some tips for visitors arriving by public transportation:

Arriving via Schiphol train station

If you are coming by public transport from Amsterdam RAI, Amsterdam Zuid, Amsterdam Central, Amsterdam Sloterdijk, The Hague Central or Haarlem Central:

1. Take the train to Schiphol Airport Station.
2. From there take bus number 361 to Noordwijk, departing from platform B2.
3. Get off at bus stop "Meer en Duin".
4. Renzy is a two-minute walk away, located on Meer en Duin 36.

Arriving via Leiden Central station

If you are coming by public transport from The Hague Central, Leiden Central, Rotterdam Central or Delft Central

1. Take the train to Leiden Central Station.
2. From there take bus number 50 to Haarlem, departing from bus lane F.
3. Get off at bus stop "Meer en Duin".
4. Renzy is a two-minute walk away, located on Meer en Duin 36.
