Sanne Schuringa

After having worked at several primary schools with multiple curricula and education concepts, Sanne Schuringa, Manager Florencius International School, joined Florencius in September 2012. Because of the expatriate environment and growing demand for international education, Sanne took place in a think tank to investigate the possibilities to start an international department at the school. Sanne graduated as Coordinator of International Primary Curriculum (IPC) to support the school team with the implementation process in the school. In her opinion international mindedness, one of the targets of the IPC, is the key to an intercultural perspective. She sees it as a great privilege to help children develop global awareness by broadening their understanding of diverse cultures by being curious about the world, keeping open minds and acknowledging similarities and differences.
